Our scanning service, as well as enabling you to save space, are compatible with electronic records management systems. We work in line with BIP 0008, meaning that all scanned images are legally admissible and can be used in place of paper documents.

The process itself is comprehensively managed, meaning you don't have to spend valuable time on any stage of project implementation:

Collection: Documents are collected directly from your premises.

Preparation: Staples, paperclips or fasteners are removed in preparation for scanning.

Scanning: Documents are scanned in colour or black and white format on high speed scanners.

Quality Assurance: Scanned images are thoroughly checked to ensure they meet The ARC's quality guidelines.

Indexing: Documents are indexed according to supplied file data and Optical Character Recognition applied where required.

Exporting: Scanned data is exported to the required media; CD, DVD and securely delivered back to your premises. Alternatively images can be held in our secure online repository for Internet access.

Document Shredding: If paper copies of documents are no longer required, they are securely shredded and a certificate issued.
