When you choose The ARC to carry out your secure document shredding, this is how the process works:

Delivery: We will deliver our unmarked document shredding sacks and security ties to your office.

Fill: You then fill and seal the sacks using the security ties; this ensures your documents remain confidential during transit to the shredding centre.

Pickup: Once you have filled all necessary sacks, contact us on

Security: All shredding sacks are transported to the shredding centre using our own secure vehicles.

Destruction: When the sacks arrive back at the shredding centre they are processed into one of the industrial shredding machines which shred to
British Standard 8470:2006 Security Level 5, the highest level that can be achieved.

Certificate: We will issue you a Certificate of Destruction upon completion of your document shredding; this is for your records as proof of destruction.

Recycling: All shredded documents are sent to a local paper recycling plant where the material is processed for the manufacture of tissue.
